In the past I had another DA page with another screen name where I posted other stuff more the kind of stuff I normally do. The kind of stuff I've posted in this new account is very different then other stuff I've done- The idea of this page conceptually at least is an experiment in doing things really helps to try to do things totally different then those things done before- even if what I come up with isn't nearly as complex,technically polished as other stuff iv'e done like to do- and not have the expectation, be self critical if the ideas aren't/can't easily be elaberated /extended to something more complex, technically polished or better. Kind of like coloring with crayola crayons or something. I write music and poetry too and its very cool to bounce back and forth between doing each of them- doing one gives me a lot of ideas changes my thinking in creative ways when thinking about the other -and avoids dead end periods - long periods of inactivity puncuated by intense periods of lots of activity and new ideas then periods of inactivity again which always happened to me which always happened before I learned to bounce between them -kind of working on all three at once but focused on one and the other. This stuff has put me into a period where I've had a lot of ideas in them - in in some strange way -though it 's hard see the conections in any surface way - though they are there ain a spining fleeting way there is some way in which looking at this stuff I can see how what i've been doing /thinking about/the ideas Ive had in music/poetry are reflected in hte visual stuff. I hope to post some of the poetry here soon -though It kinds of keeps reforming /I keep changing it for a while before it expresses what I want. When I have the music done I'll post a link to that too.
